"Formula -1" (U.I.M.) Power boat races are being held in
Europe, the US & Asia since 1990. The top class boat is a tunnel type
monster machine that runs at a speed of 100 miles (160 km) per hour with
out-board "Mercury" engine (2,000cc / 350 Hp with electronic
fuel jet controller). The race is done on the oval course of 2 km. The
boat circles the course by 50-60 times. The running appearance of the boat
is speedy as well as very aggressive. If the boat loses the balance, she
will be struck onto the water surface like concrete and can not be returned
to the race. The boat won in 1993 and 1994 the World Championship F-1 Class.
