| This has to be Caldercrafts prettiest kit. Built in 1905, Schaarhorn was commissioned, by the Mayor of Hamburg for use during state functions. The kit comprises of a fully detailed Glass fibre hull, pre-cut deck and superstructure ply, over 850 cast metal fittings, etched brass sheet for the scroll work, window frames, name plates and door furniture, Vac formed ship's boats, brass rod, doweling and stripwood. The plans are drawn to full model size and come complete with a comprehensive building manual. |
